Indigenous and Collaborative Archaeology

This course examines Indigenous Archaeology in North America. Three themes are addressed: the contribution of archaeology to knowledge about Indigenous history; the practice of Indigenous, collaborative and community based archaeology; and the colonial roots of current archaeological practice.
