Human Neuropsychology

This course examines normal behavioural and psychological correlates of the human brain. Pathological behaviours following trauma to different brain regions are discussed. Special emphasis is placed on the neurological aspects of psychosis, epilepsy, genetic disorders, and demyelinating diseases. Diagnostic tests, simple neurological evaluations, and phylo-genetic comparisons of brain function are considered. The student is expected to have a fair understanding of brain nomenclature.
