Biography

1995 B.Sc. in Chemistry (University of Paderborn, Germany) 1996 M.Sc. in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. T. Viswanatha (University of Waterloo) and Prof. Dr. K. Krohn (University of Paderborn)(on the inhibition of lysine:N6 hydroxylase, an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of aerobactin, a siderophore) 2000 Ph.D. in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Dr. mult. hc. Achim Mueller (University of Bielefeld) on the cofactor biosynthesis and metal replacement in nitrogenases. 2000-2004 Post-dooctoral fellowship (University of Waterloo) under the supervision of Drs. G. Dmitrienko and T. Viswanatha (Investigation on the inhibition and mechanistic studies on metallo-beta-lactamases) 2004-present Faculty member in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Laurentian University
